TWO high-value targets on Tuesday were arrested while some P490,000 worth of shabu was seized in separate anti-narcotics operations in Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said Christopher Ruvas alias “Parak,” 35, of San Pedro City, Laguna, was caught in an entrapment in San Miguel, Bulacan.
Alias “Parak” was nabbed while selling a plastic sachet of shabu to a poseur.
Members of the San Miguel police, the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company 3rd Maneuver Platoon confiscated from the suspect at least 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000, a black bag, a Suzuki motorcycle, and the marked money.
In Bgy. Partida, Norzagaray, Bulacan, another high-value target identified as Armando Aguilar, 59, was arrested while selling one transparent plastic sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer.
Seized from Aguilar were eight sachets of shabu worth P151,368, a black bag, a cal. .38 revolver loaded with three live ammunition, and the buy-bust money.
Hidalgo said the Bulacan police is unrelenting in its pursuit of drug traffickers to put them behind bars.
