In report to Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen by Bulacan police OIC Col. Relly Arnedo, suspect Edgar Labay was killed in an entrapment that led to an armed encounter with the San Ildefonso police in Bgy. Pinaod, San Ildefonso.
Five sachets of suspected shabu, one cal. .45 pistol, and the buy-bust money were seized from the slain suspect.
Meanwhile, eight drug pushers and four wanted felons were arrested in enhanced police operations also in Bulacan.
In Bgy. Mojon, Malolos City, police recovered in a buy-bust operation some P136,000 worth of shabu from drug dealer Alvin Jingco, 46, of Tugatog, Meycauayan City.
An estimated P101,292 worth of shabu was seized by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit operatives of the CSJDM, San Ildefonso, Sta. Maria, San Rafael and Plaridel from the seven drug peddlers.
Manhunt operations by tracker teams from the CSJDM, Plaridel, Pandi, and Pandi police led to the capture of four wanted felons for various crimes.
Pasiwen said the Bulacan PNP will not allow the drug and crime personalities to proliferate in the province.
