
BULACAN police’s stepped-up manhunt operation in the province has netted a trader turned most wanted felon.
Bulacan police acting director Col. Rommel Ochave said nabbed was Arnel Rucio, a 52-year-old businessman, of Bgy. Tawiran, Obando, Bulacan.
1st Provincial Mobile Force Company commander Lt. Col. Agosto Asuncion said with the help of members of the Obando police and 301st MC RMFB3, they served a warrant of arrest against Rusco for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearm and Ammunition Regulation Act).
Seized during the operation were one cal. .45 caliber pistol, three magazines for cal. .45 pistol, one magazine for cal. .9mm, a holster, 86 live bullets for cal. .45 pistol, 18 live bullets for cal. .9mm, 40 live bullets for cal. .22 mm rifle, 139 live bullets for cal. 5.56 mm, one M1 carbine trigger assembly, a barrel for cal. .45 pistol, a carbine bolt assembly, nine hollow point live bullets for cal. .45 pistol, five magazines for M16 rifle, nine bullets for cal. .38 revolver and one black bag.
Meanwhile, operatives of the Balagtas police executed a search warrant against Rogelio San Jose Jr. who was not present during the operation.
Recovered from San Jose’ house were one cal. .38 revolver loaded with three live bullets.
