
POLICE recovered a stolen vehicle while a wanted felon was arrested in Bulacan on New Year’s Day.
In a report submitted to Bulacan police Col. Relly Arnedo, the carnapping incident occurred in Bagong Barrio, Pandi, Bulacan.
Members of the Pandi Police Station, along with Plaridel police and the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), promptly responded, which resulted in the recovery of a Mitsubishi L300 in Tibag, Baliwag, Bulacan.
The suspect managed to evade arrest.
In Ibayo, Marilao, tracker teams of the 1st PMFC, together with the Marilao police and the 301st Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3, arrested wanted man Aaron Paul Llorente, 25.
Llorente was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest for violation of the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition issued by the Malolos City Regional Trial Court on September 16, 2022, with no bail recommended.
According to Arnedo, under the directives of Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, the Bulacan police will continue their unrelenting and unyielding anti-crime efforts.
