CIDG cites empowered policewomen

EVEN before the International Women’s Month comes to an end, the Philippine National Police – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit paid tribute to exemplary policewomen in uniform.
At the culmination of the event coinciding with the 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration themed “We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” the CIDG-RFU bestowed recognition to ‘empowered women’ who have directly or indirectly contributed in transforming the unit as the Best Regional Field Unit through the years.
“Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women, who have her back,” reads their statement.
“Empowered women empower women, lift each other up, and break through every barrier that stands in their way. A woman with a voice is by definition, a strong woman,” it added.
