CAMP BRIG. GEN. VICENTE LIM, Calamba City, Laguna –Four most wanted felons in Calabarzon region were hauled to jail by agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Unit 4A .
Members of the CIDG Regional Unit 4-A under Col. Marlon Santos arrested the four in separate operations in the provinces of Rizal, Cavite and Quezon.
A report submitted to PNP-CIDG director Brig. Gen. Romeo M. Caramat Jr. identified the arrested suspects as Rogelio Mirasol, Marvin Guzarin, Angelica Bordamonte and Joel Malveda.
Mirasol and Guzarin were arrested on Saturday night in Bgy. Mascap, Rodriguez, Rizal on the strength of a warrant for murder issued by Judge Maribeth Manahan of the San Mateo Regional Trial Court in Rizal.
Bordamonte was nabbed last Sunday in Bgy. Bayanan in Bacoor City, Cavite based on a warrant of arrest for qualified rape issued by Judge Marissa Estabaya of the Bacoor City RTC.
Malveda was tracked down in his hiding place in Bgy. Villa Victoria in Gumaca, Quezon on the strength of a warrant for four counts of qualified theft issued by Judge Maria Lourdes Gutierrez of the Gumaca, Quezon RTC.
Caramat said the CIDG is steadfast in its commitment in ensuring that no criminal can escape the bars of justice.
