Cops arrest 2 men  selling P1-M stolen telecom cable wire online

TWO men who allegedly tried to sell online a stolen reel of telecommunication cable wire worth P1 million were arrested by the police in an entrapment operation in Imus City, Cavite.

 Arrested were Rustom Nova Alberca and Dominic Coquilla Lazala,, both residents of Imus City, Cavite.

An investigation showed the sub-contractor of PLDT went to the City Police Station to report that two rolls of PLDT cable wire were stolen on November 11.

The complainant also informed the police about a social media post selling the exact item for a bargain price of P110,000 per roll.

Authorities immediately set an entrapment, which led to the suspects’ arrest.
