
CAMP BGEN. VICENTE P. LIM, Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna –Joint operatives smashed a robbery-holdup group following the arrest of its four members in Taguig City.
Nabbed were Larry Perez Gilbero. Jr alias “Eljay,” 20, of Paco, Manila; Jessierell Cañete Eusebio alias “Micheal/Inggo,” 22; John Clister del Rosario Balderama alias “Bentong,”19; and Diosdado Manahan Tamondong, Jr alias “Dodoy,” 19, a native of Balanga, Bataan. All suspects are residents of Taguig City.
The suspects were arrested last Saturday in a follow- up operation conducted by joint operatives of the Regional Intelligence Division 4A Special Operations Unit, Rizal, Laguna and Cavite Provincial Intelligence Units, together with Rizal Provincial Mobile Force Company, Police Stations of Binangonan, Bacoor, and Imus City, in coordination with the Taguig City Police Station, in Bgy. Calzada, Tipas, Taguig City.
The hot pursuit stemmed from a report last Friday of the latest victims who were crew men of Alfa Mart convenience store located at Advincula Avenue in Bgy. Alapan 2-A, Imus City, Cavite.
The four suspects entered the establishment and one of them pointed a gun at the crew while asking where the vault was located.
According to the victims, the suspects, who were wearing jacket, maong pants, cap, and facemasks, stole an estimated amount of P30,000 and four mobile phones.
The suspects immediately escaped using two motorcycles.
Operatives of PNP-Calabarzon pursued the suspects by reviewing available CCTV footages on November 25 starting from the Alfa Mart convenience store in Imus and other CCTVs along the routes where the suspects fled, which eventually ended in their hideout in Taguig City.
Investigators also managed to track the suspects using the GPS tracker installed in one of the stolen mobile phones of the victims.
Confiscated during the operation were two caliber .38 pistols with defaced serial numbers, one caliber .22 pistol, assorted ammunition, assorted stolen mobile phones, a hand grenade, and a blue Mio motorcycle with plate numbers detached and placed inside its U-box.
The said motorcycle was positively identified by the Alfa Mart crew victims as the one used by the suspects.
