THE top drug target in Davao region was arrested by the police in an operation in Bgy. Dahican, Mati City, Davao Oriental.
In a report to PRO11 director Brig. Gen. Benjamin Silo, operatives of the Mati City police under Lt. Ernesto Gregore, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Davao Oriental, conducted an entrapment on Noel Espelimbergo Escasinas Jr., 22, of Purok Makugihon, Bgy. Dahican.
Seized from the suspect were three plastic sachets containing shabu worth at least P24,000 and the marked money.
The suspect will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Silo commended his men for the arrest of the notorious drug pusher.
The official said Escasinas’ capture served as proof of PRO11’s commitment to eradicate the proliferation of illegal drugs .
