
THE 24-hour operation by the police has hauled to jail 39 law violators and wanted felons in the province of Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said within one day, his men was able to arrest 39 drug peddlers and users, wanted persons and illegal gamblers.
Arnedo said among those arrested was the top most wanted of Makilala police, North Cotabato and no. 9 most wanted in Cotabato.
Meycauayan tracker team, together with personnel from Makilala PNP, arrested Lyod Parilla yesterday morning in Bgy.Pajo, Meycauayan City for violation of Republic 7610.
Nabbed by the Meycauayan City police was Nilo Calimutan, for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property and for slight and multiple serious physical injuries.
The Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company tracker team arrested three individuals with warrants of arrest for qualified rape, violation of RA 7610 and reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property, while the DRT police arrested Leonardo Sarmiento and Richard Cruz for unjust vexation.
The Bocaue police tracker team arrested Christopher Ian De Leon in Bgy. Batia for murder while the Bulakan police arrested Pascualito Carpio in Bgy. Bagumbayan, Bulakan, Bulacan for estafa.
Arnedo added that intelligence-driven police operations against illegal drugs have hauled to jail 16 drug peddlers and users while 55 plastic sachets of shabu were seized.
The Marilao police caught two PNP/PDEA watchlisted individuals in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Lambakin identified as Crisanto Espiritu and Conrado Gonzales, who yielded P38,000 worth of arijuana.
Police arrested Ricky Rustin in Bgy Poblacion, Baliwag, and Rozano Pascual in Bgy. San Roque, Angat.
The Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit conducted separate buy-bust operations that led to the arrest of Joy Venancio in Baliuag and Medardo Perez in Marilao.
Other entrapment operations that led to the arrest of 10 other drug peddlers were conducted by the Guiguinto, Bustos, San Jose del Monte, and Mecauayan drug enforcement Units.
Meanwhile, the Bulacan police’ campaign against illegal gambling resulted in the arrest of nine individuals.
The San Jose del Monte police arrested four individuals playing “pusoy” on Amihan Road, Bgy. Santo Cristo, while the Guiguinto police caught three who were playing “tongits” in Bgy. Sta Cru.
The other suspects were arrested while engaging in STL bookies in Bgy. Santa Cruz, Angat and Bgy. Akle, San Ildefonso.
