Arrested was Leovino Berin, 43, driver of LIL III Pet Supplies Trading, and a resident of Purok Champaca, Bgy. Bangad, Cabanatuan City.

Cabanatuan City police chief Lt. Col. Jackyll Bilibli said Berin’s boss, Luciano Llanillo III, of Bgy. Mabini Homesite, Cabanatuan City, filed a complaint against the driver.

An investigation showed the suspect and his helper, Jefferson Inantay, stopped at the Amigo’s Kambingan in Bgy. San Pascual to eat at 10 p.m. on Thursday after delivering the pet supplies and collecting a total P79,070 payment.

After partaking food, the suspect took a portion of the collection money amounting to P24,750 and gambled at the “Pitmasters Live” or e-sabong joint stationed in the eatery.

Inantay informed their boss of the incident, who subsequently arrived and discovered the missing P24,750 from the total P79,070 collection.
