ENCHANTED Kingdom (EK), the Philippines’ first and only world-class theme park, is set to deliver even more magical experiences as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. As part of its milestone preparations, two of its iconic attractions—Space Shuttle and AGILA The EKsperience—will undergo major enhancements and will be temporarily closed from July 1 to September 30, 2025.
EK President and Chairman Cesar Mario O. Mamon announced that the upgrade of these beloved attractions is part of the park’s broader revitalization efforts aimed at delivering elevated, multi-generational experiences to all guests.
“Beyond our unwavering mission to introduce new magical attractions, we remain committed to reimagining and enhancing our existing rides to ensure our guests remain forever enchanted—this 2025 and beyond,” Mamon shared.
Both upgraded rides are scheduled to reopen in time for EK’s grand 30th anniversary celebration this October.
The Space Shuttle, one of EK’s legacy rides since its opening in 1995, continues to be a crowd favorite with its thrilling loops and heart-racing drops. The upcoming upgrade will introduce a revamped loading and unloading experience, along with improvements in ride efficiency and safety monitoring systems.
Meanwhile, AGILA The EKsperience, the Philippines’ first and only flying theater, has played a vital role in EK’s educational entertainment initiatives, having welcomed over half a million students annually. Through a spectacular flight on the wings of the Philippine eagle, AGILA takes guests on a breathtaking tour of the country’s most iconic natural and cultural landmarks. Its relaunch will incorporate new elements aimed at deepening environmental awareness and promoting sustainability through immersive storytelling.
In addition to these major upgrades, EK is enhancing its themed zones, attractions, and park facilities in preparation for its milestone celebration on October 18 and 19, 2025.
While these upgrades are underway, guests can still enjoy over 30 rides and attractions, including EKlipse, EK’s newest family thrill ride and the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Guests can also look forward to a lineup of enchanting events and exclusive offerings as part of the lead-up to the anniversary celebration.
