A WOMAN listed as a “high-value” individual and two other alleged big-time drug peddlers were arrested on Sunday in an operation in Bgy. Ibabang Iyam, Lucena City, Quezon.Seized in a sting at Purok Talabis, Bgy. Ibabang Iyam were some P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs.
Quezon police director Col. Ledon Monte said nabbed were Maricris Deocales, who has been included in the “high-value” individual watchlist, Neil Jansen Igloria, and Rodrigo Brondo , 30 all of Bgy. Ibabang Iyam.
Monte said the anti- drug operation carried out by city police operatives under Lt. Col. Erickson Roranes yielded 18 plastic sachets containing 65.6 grams of shabu, with an street value of P1,338.240.
Also seized were two coin purses and five marked P1,000 peso bill used as buy-bust money.
According to Roranes, the suspects have been under tight watch by his intelligence and drug enforcement operatives following reports that they have been engaged in drug peddling.
Last week, same operatives confiscated P3, 125, 280 worth of illegal drugs and arrested three suspected big-time drugs pushers in a sting at Akap Village, Purok Little Baguio II, Bgy. Ibabang Dupay, this city.
Arrested were Lorebeth Berba, 47, of Bgy. Ibabang Dupay who is also in the HVI watchlist; Edward Sales, 50, of Bgy. 9, and Andrew Azagra, 29, of Bgy. Ungos, Real, Quezon.
