An 18-YEAR-OLD female student was stabbed dead by a jeepney driver allegedly out of jealousy in Tanauan City, Batangas.
Tanauan City Police Station chief Lt. Col. Karlos P. Lanuza identified the victim as
Roselyn Cundiman de la Rosa, of Sitio Pag-asa 2, Bgy. Darasa, Tanauan City.
The suspect was Herman Acunin, a native of San Pedro, Daet, Camarines Norte, and a resident of Bgy. Darasa, Tanauan City.
Witnesses told police that prior to the stabbing, the victim and the suspect quarreled in the house of dela Rosa.
Acunin left and returned with a knife.
The heated argument continued until the suspect suddenly stabbed the victim before fleeing with the knife.
Dela Rosa was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival by attending physician
Dr. Kit Harvin Soliven.
