CAMP BRIG. GEN. PACIANO RIZAL — Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) Director Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces on Monday made a command visit at the Laguna Police Provincial Office in Sta. Cruz town and reiterated the importance of the PNP’s vision, mission.
During his Talk to Men, he was briefed by the police chiefs in the entire Laguna on peace and order situation in their areas of jurisdiction.
In his speech, Gaces stressed the 5-focused agenda of Philippine National Police chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr.. They are the personnel morale and welfare, integrity enhancement, information and communication technology development, aggressive and honest law enforcement operations, and community engagement
“To boost the morale of our policemen, we will have a reward system at para makatulong sa mga naoospital nating mga pulis, meron silang mare-reimburse,” Gaces said.
He also highlighted during his speech the issue of integrity enhancement, modernization of technology, and community engagement.
“Ang pagprevent at ang pagsolve ng crime ay hindi lang trabaho ng pulis kungdi pati na rin ng buong community,” said Gaces as he urged the participation of everyone in crime prevention.
He said the role of media is also vital in crime prevention and in maintaining peace and order.
“Ang vision, mission, po ng pulis ay hindi purely trabaho ng pulis kungdi pati na rin po ng pakikipagtulungan ng media at ng ating komunidad,” he said.
The Calabarzon top cop also cited Silvio for his intensified drive against illegal gambling that led to the increase in the STL revenue.
“Let us rally behind Col. Silvio. Let us rally behind our PNP chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. not only for ourselves but for future generations,” Gaces said.
