FOLLOWING the recent Buhayani Job Fair last June, SM City Calamba is delighted to have another job fair, making SM a venue of opportunities. A special partnership between employers and potential employees. The job fair aims for the job seekers to take advantage and get in contact with new people and broaden their personal and professional network.
A total of 1,101 applicants were screened and interviewed by the participating companies. The 42 companies were mainly from the manpower, manufacturing and retail industries, 38 of which are local companies while the remaining 5 are for overseas recruitment. During the Buhayani Job Fair, 407 candidates were hired on the spot. This time, 571 interviewees will be having new jobs in the succeeding days as they were hired on the spot by their chosen corporations.
SM Supermalls, being a home to over thousands of employees, will continue to make efforts in providing jobs to the growing Filipino workforce.
