Leader of carnapping gang operating in Calabarzon serves warrant of arrest at BJMP

Camp Vicente Lim , Calamba City – REGIONAL Highway Patrol Unit 4A, PHPT Laguna, under the supervision of PMaj Glenn Alegado and through the leadership of Regional Chief RHPU4A, PCol Rommel C Estolano, conducted service of a warrant of arrest for the crime of Estafa against Nemencio Alipon Jr. y Taladro under Coplan Alipon at Bataan District Jail, BJMP RO3, Brgy Doña, Orani, Bataan.

The arrest was made pursuant to a Warrant of Arrest against the accused for the crime of Estafa under Article 315, Paragraph 2 (A) of the Revised Penal Code, with Criminal Case Numbers 10311 and 10312. Said warrant was issued on October 26, 2023, by Honorable Jhon Paul Arboleda Andamo, Acting Presiding Judge of the Municipal Trial Court in Calauan, Laguna, with Bail recommended at Php 18,000.00 for each Warrant of Arrest.

As a context to this, the accused is the leader of the Alipon Carnapping operating in Calabarzon and other neighboring regions. He was previously arrested on May 2023 for the crime of carnapping by the elements of PHPT Laguna and the Intelligence and Investigation Section of RHPU4A.

As a result in the service of a warrant of arrest, the accused revealed the location of his cohorts, which prompted PHPT-Laguna to conduct a follow-up operations that led to the surrender of one (1) Antonio Carpio Jr, DI-Listed and among the personalities on Coplan Alipon.

This significant accomplishment of RHPU4A shows a testament to this unit’s commitment to conducting intensified Anti-Carnapping operations and relentless pursuits against the personalities involved in Carnapping through the leadership of PBGen Alan M Nazarro, Director of the Highway Patrol Group, in line with the thrust of the CPNP’s strategy of implementing aggressive and honest law enforcement measures to combat carnapping, highway robbery, and other forms of criminality along the highways.
