Missing engineer found chopped off in Cavite

AN engineer who was reported missing by his family was found dismembered in a grassy area in Bacoor City, Cavite.

The victim was identified as Napoleon Fernandez, a civil engineer, of Bgy. Habay 1, Bacoor City.

 Suspect Romnick Missiona Bombeo, 30, a stay-in caretaker in the house of Fernandez, was about to escape when arrested by the police.

 An investigation showed the victim’s brother, Danilo, sought the help of the police regarding the disappearance of Napoleon since July 7.

Authorities went to the house of Napoleon and asked the suspect the victim’s whereabouts .

The suspect said the victim was out on a vacation.

Sensing the suspect was lying, authorities asked him if they could check his backpack but the suspect got angry and bit one of the law enforcers and ran away.

Police put out a chase and was able to corner and arrest  Bombeo.

Found inside the suspect’s bag were P4,926,100 million in cash, three gold bracelets, three gold chains, one gold ring, two watches, two Samsung flip cellphones, wallets, and various identifications belonging to the missing victim.

Bombeo confessed killing the victim and dumping his body in a grassy portion in Neverland in Bgy. Habay 1.

According to the suspect, he took the victim’s samurai displayed  on the sala and attacked the engineer after the victim scolded him.

He said he chopped off the victim’s body and put them in four sacks before dumping the remains in the grassy portion of the village.
