
THE Central Luzon police’s intensified anti-illegal drugs operations in the region as ordered by Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. has hauled to jail more female drug peddlers.
The stepped-up anti-illegal drugs drive in Central Luzon has arrested 12 drug-peddlers while P633,200 worth of illegal drugs was seized.
In Pampanga, Manilyn Terado, Romuel Umangay, Ryan Joe delos Santod, and Ronald de Guzman were arrested by the Mabalacat City police in South Daang-Bakal in Dau.
Seized were six plastic sachets of shabu valued at P204,000 and two P1,000 marked bills.
Also in Pampanga, members of the Sta. Ana police and other police units conducted a buy-bust in Bgy. San Roque, Sta. Ana, resulting in the arrest of “high-value” target Jerwin Saboriendo who yielded three sachets containing marijuana, one brick of marijuana worth P79,000, one cal. .38 revolver loaded with three bullets, a weighing scale, and the marked money.
Members of the Olongapo police CPDEU launched an entrapment in Lower Sibul, Bgy. West Bajac-Bajac, Olongapo City, which led to the arrest of drug-listed Razel Paes and his cohort Ally Traquina, who were caught with four sachets of shabu worth P115,600 and the marked bill.
Another female drug pusher identified as Jacquiline Gonzales, of Esteban St., Bgy. New Ilalim, Olongapo City, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation at her house.
Confiscated from Gonzales were seven plastic sachets of shabu valued at P227,800 and the marked money.
In Bulacan, Melvin Maxan was arrested by the San Jose del Monte City police in a sting at Sapang Lamig, Bgy. Minuyan Proper
Maxan yielded 15 transparent sachets of shabu worth P122,400 and the buy-bust money.
All suspects were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Hidalgo commended his men for the arrest of the suspects, saying illegal drug traders will have less opportunity to propagate in the region.
