COMBINED operatives of the Regional Special Operations Group 3 and other police units seized P5-million worth of expired and tampered food products being sold i in Bgy. Parada, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. said joint operating teams from RSOG3, 301st Mobile Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 and the Sta. Maria police under Lt. Col. Jay Dimaandal, along with San Miguel Foods Inc. Security and Safety division manager Rex Anonas, implemented a search warrant issued by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court.
Nabbed were Gloria Cacanindin, Rachel Constantino and Rica Rodriguez while Noel Cacanindin eluded arrest.
Seized were several boxes of 3-in-1 coffee and canned goods worth at least P5-million, a pedal sealing machine, assorted labelling paraphernalia, a box of specimen sample, and two Isuzu Elf trucks.
All suspects are now under the custody of the RSOG 3 facing appropriate charges.
