AN abandoned car at a parking lot in Mabalacat City Pampanga yielded some P1.3 billion worth of shabu .
Based on a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the shabu was found inside a red Toyota Avanza, with plate no. ZGS643 abandoned at the parking lot of SM Hypermarket in Bgy. Camachiles, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The Mabalacat City police, in coordination with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Task Force Against Illegal Drugs (TFAID) team led by attorney Eduardo Ramos Jr., found the car loaded with at least 200 kilos of shabu valued at P1.3 billion.
Hidalgo said the NBI and his men are now working together in investigating who are the suspects behind the abandoned illegal drugs.
“May this latest haul be a clear warning to drug traffickers that the PRO3 police are serious in the campaign to achieve a drug-free region,” the Central Luzon top cop warned.
