INILABAS na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) na nagkakahalaga ng ₱212.77 milyon pondo para sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) para sa unang quarter ng 2024.
Ayon kay DBM Secretary Mina F. Pangandaman , layunin nito na ipatupad ang mga programa ng Ministry of Social Welfare and Development sa rehiyon .
“Our collective efforts at developing BARMM are bearing fruit. Thus, our kababayans can be assured that we will continue to provide strong support to BARMM as we secure a future-proof and sustainable economy,” ani Sec. Pangandaman.
Ang inilabas na NCA ay bahagi ng ₱3.22 bilyong pondo na inilaan para sa BARMM na direkta namang inilipat mula sa alokasyon ng DSWD Central Office para sa pagpapatupad ng kanilang mga pangunahing programa.
Inilaan ang nasabing alokasyon para sa patuloy na pagpapatupad ng mga sumusunod na programa ng DSWD sa rehiyon ng Bangsamoro: Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens, Sustainable Livelihood Program, Supplementary Feeding Program at ang Pagpapatupad ng R.A. No. 10868 o ang Centenarians Act of 2016.
“We will continue to give all the necessary aid to our brothers and sisters in Mindanao because their success is the success of every Filipino. This is aligned with the call of our beloved President Bongbong Marcos for a Bagong Pilipinas, where inclusivity and unity are of utmost importance. Sa Bagong Pilipinas, walang maiiwan, lalong-lalo na po ang Mindanao,” dagdag ni Sec. Pangandaman.
Inaprubahan ni Sec. Pangandaman ang pagpapalabas ng pondo noong ika-20 Pebrero 2024, na magmumula sa FY 2024 GAA.
