MAYOR Crisostomo Garbo of Mabalacat City in Pampanga led the groundbreaking rites for the AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation’s Pampanga Technopark in Bgy. Tabun, in the city.
The 200-hectare park is the first masterplanned, agro-industrial commercial township in Central Luzon that is expected to provide 100,000 job opportunities, recreation and innovation to Mabalacat City residents.
The Pampanga Technopark is a significant development that will connect commerce and communities through its three phases — Centro, Market Place, and Industrial Zone.
Centro, the heart of the park, will showcase Pampanga cuisine and delicacies, hotels, retail stores, offices, working spaces, and dormitories and Market Place that will feature local farmers and businessmen while the Industrial Zone will house warehouses and logistic hubs.
Garbo said the project will provide numerous employment opportunities and contribute to the growth and development of Mabalacat City and Central Luzon.
The mayor added that the Pampanga Technopark is an example of what can be achieved when the government and private sector work together.
Jose Emmanuel Jalandoni, president and CEO of AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp., presented during the ceremony the plans for the Pampanga Technopark, saying it will have a public bus terminal that will connect the park to nearby cities and provinces, making it accessible and convenient for everyone.
Also present in the event were Mabalacat City Vice Mayor Gerald Guttrie Aquino, Sangguniang Panlunsod members, city administrator Franco Alejo Madlangbayan, Board of Investments-Investment Promotion Services executive director Evariste Cagatan, Board of Investments-Investments Assistance Center executive director attorney Bobby Fondevilla, Board of Investments-Investment Promotion Services director Maria Rosario Dominguez, former president and CEO of ALLHC Rowena M. Tomeldan, chief operating officer of ALLHC Patrick C. Avila, Board of Investments-Investment Assistance Services director Ernesto Delos Reyes, Industrial Parks and Real Estate Logistics Group of ALLHC head Gabriel Luis Sioson, and Bgy. Tabun chairman Danilo Deleon and village councilors
According to Garbo, the Pampanga Technopark is an important milestone for AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. and the city of Mabalacat.
It is a testament to their commitment to innovation, progress, and sustainable development and will bring positive change to the Mabalacaquenos and residents in surrounding areas.
