THE Police Regional Office CALABARZON hosted Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas today at the PRO 4A MPC, Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim.
The event featured the Regional Director PBGEN Paul Kenneth T Lucas hosted by Charmaine A. Odong, Coordinator and Media Production Specialist from the Philippine Information Agency 4A.
The program was attended by the Command Group, members of the Regional Staff, the Philippine Information Agency 4A led by the Regional Director Ma. Cristina C. Arzadon, and various media personalities.
During the show, PBGEN Lucas presented the significant accomplishments of PRO 4A featuring various anti-criminality campaigns, best practices, and innovative policing efforts, which include:
The Project L.U.K.A.S. (Labanan, Umaksyon, Kausapin ang buong Pamilya, Abusadong Rapist, Sama-samang Pigilin): A police intervention strategy where designated officers, with the help of Barangay Officials, conduct household visitations and present an audiovisual explainer to raise awareness and educate on preventing rape incidents in households.
The P.O.W.E.R. Services Application: Defined as Protect Our Community’s Well-being through Effective Services and Response, this user-friendly internet-based application provides a seamless platform and one-stop solution for emergency requests, crime reporting, filing complaints, applying for clearances and permits, accessing safety tips and guidelines, and facilitating interaction with the community.
The Blue Cops in Mobile Sub-station on Wheels (BCMW): A mobile sub-station operated by uniformed personnel alongside force multipliers on a 24/7 basis. This unit can be deployed to any location requiring its presence, such as business areas, alleys, and crowded streets. The BCMW also functions as a mini tactical operations center in emergency situations, facilitating coordination and communication among emergency response teams.
The Integrated Patrol System “RONDA”: PRO4A’s Revitalized Patrol Operations and Neighborhood Watch to Deter Crimes and Public Safety Incidents through Aggressive Police Presence.
Further, media personalities were given the chance to ask questions related to PRO 4A’s anti-criminality efforts.
In his closing statement, PBGEN Lucas underscored that under his leadership, PRO 4A will continue to do its best to ensure the safety and security of the CALABARZON community.
