Camp BGen Vicente P Lim – THE Police Regional Office CALABARZON Anti-Illegal Drug Units scored big time in a recent operation targeting both High Value Individuals (HVIs) and Street Level Individuals (SLIs).
In Barangay Maderan, GMA Cavite, operatives of Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit 4A along with the members of GMA Municipal Police Station and Cavite Intelligence Unit conducted a joint buy-bust operation on the afternoon of December 9 that resulted in the arrest of alias “D.S” and confiscation of approximately 200 grams of shabu worth ₱1,360,000, boodle money, and other drug paraphernalia. Alias D.S is a High Value Individual.
Meanwhile, 2 individuals were also arrested in a separate buy-bust operations in Binangonan and Antipolo, Rizal province. On Saturday evening, December 9, 2023, alias “Jed”, was arrested by the operatives of Binangonan Municipal Police Station in a buy-bust operation at J. P. Rizal St., Brgy. Batingan, Binangonan, Rizal. Almost 66.2 grams of shabu worth ₱456,780.00 and 9.7 grams dried leaves of marijuana valued at ₱1,164.00 were confiscated from his possession. The suspect is a Street Level Individual.
In Barangay. Cupang, Antipolo City, Rizal, alias “Regie”, a High Value Individual was arrested Sunday morning by members of City Drug Enforcement Team of Antipolo Component City Police Station. Seized from him were 75 grams of shabu valued at ₱517, 500.00 and a cal .38 revolver loaded with 5 live ammunitions.
“PRO4A is committed in maintaining the momentum in our fight against illegal drugs to eradicate the scourge of illegal drug trade from our communities,” said PBGEN Paul Kenneth T Lucas, Regional Director for CALABARZON police.
The well-coordinated anti-illegal drug operations, spearheaded by PRO4A, were conducted to dismantle drug networks operating at various levels, from high-value targets orchestrating large-scale operations to street-level individuals contributing to the distribution on a local scale.
The Police Regional Office CALABARZON encourages the public to remain vigilant and actively participate in the ongoing efforts to create a drug-free environment. “Information from the community plays a crucial role in the success of anti-illegal drugs operations, and PRO4A remains grateful for the continuous support of the public,” RD Lucas added.
