PACKED with enthusiasm and buoyed by her love for reading, Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar shares animated stories with young learners for a reading session before distributing backpacks and school supplies and donating reading materials at the Christ the King Child Development Center (CDC) in Barangay Talon 4 in Las Piñas City.
Rep. Villar was at the Christ the King CDC as part of her “Handog Karunungan” book donation drive, which seeks to inspire young students to enjoy reading, a hobby that she has enjoyed since she was a kid. The campaign seeks to provide learning institutions and daycare centers with tools to promote literacy, encourage community involvement, and foster a sense of togetherness and shared responsibility.
