REP. Camille Villar has commended Talisaynons for their resilience and spirit of unity for the achievements and development of Talisay City in Negros Occidental.
In her inspirational message before the start of the street dancing and dance drama competition that was the main event of the city’s 25th Minulu-an Festival, Villar said: “Nakaka-proud po dahil buhay na buhay ang inyong spirit of unity bilang isang komunidad. Let this remind us of your strength as a people, of your strength as a city.”
Villar said the city government’s achievement should serve as a reminder to the residents “of the years of collective hard work and perseverance that all of you has put together, leading to the development, prosperity, and progress of your beloved city.”
The lawmaker joined the Talisaynons after the competition’s opening ceremony, and reveled as participants showcased their dancing prowess.
