SPEAKER Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez on Wednesday cited the legislative milestones the House of Representatives (HRep) achieved before the Second Regular Session of the 19th Congress adjourned sine die.
Romualdez said the bills passed promoting national security, economic stability, social welfare, and environmental protection reflected the HRep’s commitment to the welfare and prosperity of the Filipino people.
“Malinaw po ang misyon nating lahat. Kapayapaan sa buong bansa. Seguridad sa mga komunidad. Masiglang ekonomiya. Maunlad na kabuhayan para sa lahat,” he said
He also vowed to continue advancing critical legislations that will realize President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s dream of providing a decent home for every Filipino family.
Romualdez also expressed gratitude to the House members, Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Gonzales Jr., Deputy Speakers, Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe and Minority Leader Marcelino Libanan, committee chairpersons, House secretariat, congressional staff, contractual employees, janitorial services, security personnel and the media for their contributions to the sessions’ success.
