
OPERATIVES of the Police Regional Office 11 on Sunday arrested a “high-value” drug target and seized some P5.8 million worth of shabu in an operation in Tagum City.
PRO11 director Brig. Gen. Benjamin Silo Jr. said nabbed was Michael Pascual Quevido, of Visayan Village, Tagum City.
Quevido was caught based on a search warrant issued by Judge Dante Baguio of the Regional Trial Court in Davao City.
Personnel from the Davao Norte Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the Tagum City police launched the operation.
Seized were a cal. .45 pistol with five live bullets, shabu valued at P5,877,975.76 and some drug paraphernalia.
Silo commended the teams for the huge drug haul.
“I’m optimistic that in due time, we can achieve to make Davao a drug-free region,” the official said.
