TINGOG Partylist launched a two-day relief operation for communities affected by recent flash floods in Davao City. The heavy rains which started late Wednesday until Thursday morning, November 8 and 9, brought severe flooding to multiple barangays, with Brgy. Talomo and Brgy. Aplaya among the areas suffering the most damage.
Led by Rep. Yedda Romualdez, Rep. Jude Acidre, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Tingog Partylist distributed hot meals of arroz caldo and other food items to residents recovering from the floods. The Tingog food trucks went around the hardest hit neighborhoods, serving fresh meals to more than 3,000 individuals and families as they repair their damaged homes. Tingog aims to provide immediate relief and comfort to those impacted during this difficult time.
“We are committed to helping our kababayans whenever crisis hits,” said Rep. Yedda Romualdez. “Even when the rains are strong, the spirit of bayanihan in our communities remains stronger. Tingog Partylist will always be here to serve.”
The two-day Tingog relief operation was conducted on November 9-10. The partylist says its outreach will continue in the coming days as residents rebuild and recover. Tingog Partylist thanks the public for their continued support and prayers for Davao City and its affected families.
