PROJECT : “Angels of Hope” on Sunday was launched by Alta D’ Tagaytay Hotel and Altaland Developer Inc. at the Ballroom grounds inRidge View Subdivision, Bgy. Iruhin East,Tagaytay City, Cavite.
Alta D’ Tagaytay general manager Bernie Corpuz led the launch of the program introducing the Tree of Hope – a 20-ft-high Christmas Tree- located at the grounds adorned with garlands and empty sockets meant to be filled with lots of bulbs, bringing life and hope to children with cancer.
Corpuz said hundreds of guests purchased the bulbs on-site at the tree lighting ceremony, which cost only P300 each, with 1,200 sockets reserved to be filled.
“The hotel will request room guests for P50 upon check out, Restaurant guests for P20 and banquet guests for P5 per guest. The proceeds will be directly remitted to partner institution Dalta-Jonelta Foundation Inc.,” Corpus said.
Dalta-Jonelta Foundation director Dr. Sol Cruz thanked those who support the Angels of Hope project for patients with cancer.
“I hope through the DJFi, this project will not end so that we can extend the lives of children with cancer” Dr. Cruz said.
“Angels of Hope,” through Alta D’ Tagaytay, and Sol Y’ Viento Mountain Resort in Km 55, Makiling Heights, Calamba City, aims to assist children with cancer and their families and help provide the much-needed financial assistance to alleviate the pain of the kids while giving themhope and enhancing their social, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being as part of the companies Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR).
Alta D’ Tagaytay and Sol Y’ Viento Mountain Resort are now placing donation boxes at the banquet to seek for kind-hearted guests for the noble mission.
