A WOMAN was killed while five others were injured when an Isuzu Hi-Lander pick-up truck hit a tricycle in Antipolo City, Rizal on Tuesday.
The fatality was identified as Jehazel Embang, one of the passengers of the tricycle. She was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
The injured were tricycle driver Jobert Labao and his passengers Jake Iver Labao, Rhian Aguilar, Sophia Felicano, Mitchil De-Erit, and her son John Mendriz Seria.
The victims were traveling on a trike when upon reaching Bgy. Sta Cruz, Antipolo City, they were hit from behind by an Isuzu Hi-Lander at 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday,
Witnesses rushed the victims to Antipolo District Hospital, where Embang was pronounced dead by the attending physician.
The driver of the Isuzu Hi-Lander and the pick-up truck were turned over to the police for proper disposition.
