ABOUT 115 newly-promoted PNP personnel of the Police Regional Office 3 on Tuesday took their oath at the PRO3 Parade Grounds of Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando in Pampanga.
The oath taking, mass pinning and donning of ranks of the newly-promoted police commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers were led by PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen.
Pasiwen, in his speech, said the officers promotion signifies not only the recognition of their excellent service to the PNP but more importantly, the bigger responsibilities that they have to hold in order to help attain their mission.
“Huwag kayong makontento sa inyong promotion. I want you to keep going, strive harder, and embrace the challenges at stake ahead of you towards the fulfillment of your dreams. Do not cling to corruption, do not engage in illegal activities. Maglingkod kayo ng tapat at taos-puso sa sambayanang Pilipino,” Pasiwen said.
The event was held simultaneously in all police offices regionwide, where a total of 3,179 police regional office personnel were advanced to the next higher rank.
Amomg those promoted were Capt. Silvestre Colanza, deputy chief of the Bagac police; and PCMS Jewelle Rivera, of the Regional Public Information Office 3.
