All the accomplishments and successes of this unit under my stint were all due to the shared efforts of VOP troops, partner stakeholders, and of course the CMO Regiment.” Lt Col Dumalagan said.
He also asked the Voice of Peace family and the stakeholders to continue extending the same support given to him to the newly installed Commander.
Meanwhile, on his assumption message, “I would like to thank BGen Lagamon for the trust bestowed upon me to lead the 14CMOBn. To my wife & son and the 14CMOBn Officers and Enlisted Personnel, thank you for the warm welcome, and I promise that I will be here not only to command you but also to serve you,” Lieutenant Jeffrex Molina said.
He also shared his life Bible verse taken from the book of Galatians 6:9, “Let us not be weary in doing good for at the right time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Lt Col Molina ended.
On the other hand, BGen Lagamon commended the outgoing Commander for his exceptional leadership for bringing out the potentials and capabilities of the Battalion in becoming a high-performing and responsive CMO unit not only in the Visayas area but also in the whole Philippine Army.
He welcomed the new Commanding Officer Lt Col Molina, “The significance of this change of command is a time-honored tradition in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, especially in the Philippine Army.
Sometimes called changing of the guard, to have a smooth transition of responsibility, kaya pagpasa ko nito kanina (referring to the unit color), “Jeff, mabigat ito” the responsibilities of being a commander, the burden of leadership, and we expect a lot from the commanders – when you are a leader you have to strive to be the best version of yourself,” BGen Lagamon said.
“We, leaders and CMO operators, should have perseverance, discipline, initiative, critical thinking, and capacity to listen. People do not remember what you did or what you said; they only remember how you made them feel, and you can only achieve that if you have a heart to make a difference and a heart to the people you serve and to the people you lead.” BGen Lagamon ended.
