SOME 1,589 farmers in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro received their Rice Farmer Financial Assistance (RFFA) from the Department of Agriculture (DA).
The giving of cash aid worth P5,000 contained in a cash card was held at the Lumangbayan Covered Court in Calapan City.

Also present in the event were Calapan City Mayor Malou Flores-Morillo, Lorelein Sevilla of the City Agriculture Services Department, and the Sangguniang Barangay of Lumangbayan led by village head Rowena Mallari.
The mayor, during the event, shared programs they prepared for the farmer’s sector, as well as the actions and solutions taken in response to the problems brought by the recent floodings.
