ELEMENTS of the Bureau of Customs’ (BOC)- NAIA, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and NAIA-IATG intercepted a passenger’sluggage containing P19.6-M worth of cocaine on Tuesday at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City.
The suspect identified as Stephen Joseph Szuhar, an American national.
Authorities discovered 3.7 kilos of cocaine with an estimated value of P19,610,000 in his luggage.
Through a tip of informants and was subjected to K9, x-ray and 100% thorough physical examination which resulted in the discovery.
. The subject passenger arrived from Doha, Qatar via Qatar Airways QR 932 coming from Brazil as port of origin.
He was apprehended for violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
