Camp BGen Vicente P Lim- COMBINED operatives of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 4A, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Cavite Police Provincial Office and Dasmariñas City Police Station nabbed a High Value Individual (HVI) and seized ₱1,035,000.00 worth of illegal drugs during buy-bust operation conducted on November 9, 2023 at Walter Mart Parking Lot, Brgy Zone 4, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
Based on the report, operatives from the RPDEU, PDEU Cavite and Dasmariñas CPS conducted buy bust operation that led in the arrest of alias “Jerwin”, female, 35 yrs old, of Brgy Sampaloc 4, Dasmariñas Cavite and listed as high value individual (HVI) in Cavite PPO Drugs watchlist.
Confiscated from her possession were 1 piece knot tied transparent plastic bag containing suspected shabu weighing 100 grams valued at ₱690,000.00, 1 piece heat-sealed transparent plastic bag containing suspected shabu weighing 50 grams valued at ₱345,000.00 and monetary bill as boodle money.
Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, Acting Regional Director of PRO Calabarzonlauded the significant accomplishment of the joint drug operatives of PRO 4A during the conduct of buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas Cavite. He also expressed his appreciation to the members of the community who served as informant in the success of the police operation against illegal drugs.
“I want to congratulate the members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of PRO Calabarzon and our local police in Dasmariñas City. I also want to express my gratitude to the members of the community who helped our operatives by providing reliable information with regard to the whereabouts of this suspect and her illegal transactions in Cavite province. This significant accomplishment is the result of collective efforts of the PNP Calabarzon and the community.” ARD Lucas said.
The drug suspect will be charged for violations of Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Drug suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit, Imus City, Cavite for chemical analysis and drug dependency examination.
