COMBINED operatives on Monday arrested in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna two men accused of trafficking cocaine in clubs and pubs in Metro Manila and in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Nabbed were Aaron Gidwani, 37, of Toledo St., Cupang Alabang Hills Village, Muntinlupa City; and Mark Paul Pagayon, 41, of Blk. 2 Lot 5, Shinagawa Court Tokyo Mansion, Silang, Cavite.
Joint operatives led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 3-Pampanga Provincial Office, along with PDEA – Calabarzon and the local police, launched the operation.
The suspects were arrested in front of a popular theme park in Bgy. Balibago in Sta. Rosa City.
Seized from the two were one plastic pack containing at least 500 grams of cocaine worth P2.6 million, a motorcycle and the marked money.
“Cocaine is a stimulant drug, which means that it produces fast and intense feeling of energy. It is addictive because someone can get hooked after trying it just once,” the PDEA said.
The arrested suspects were charged with violation of Section 5 for sale of dangerous drugs in relation to Section 26-B or conspiracy to sell of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
