SMALL business owners from the 20 barangays of Las Piñas City have each received cash assistance from Rep. Camille A. Villar as part of her office’s livelihood assistance program for micro and small enterprises.
Rep. Villar distributed financial aid to the business owners recently at the Villar Sipag Events hall.
“Nagpapasalamat po tayo sa ating mga small business owners kanilang ambag sa pagpapa-angat sa ating ekonomiya. Hangad ng ating livelihood assistance program na matulungan kayo sa inyong pang-araw-araw na negosyo,” Rep. Villar said in a short message after the cash distribution.

Rep. Villar has been actively participating in discussions at the House of Representative for the passage of legislation that would provide increased government assistance to micro and small business enterprises, especially those which were hit hard by mobility restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She has likewise authored a bill that mandates entrepreneurship to be taught as a separate subject in the K-12 program in public and private secondary schools nationwide, as she underscored the importance of introducing entrepreneurship at a young age to pave the way for more startups that will help shape brighter prospects for the country’s economy.
