THE Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) is one of the designated statistical activities of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that aims to generate essential statistics for economic planning and analysis. It is specifically designed to collect and generate information on the levels, structure, performance, and trends of economic activities of the formal sector of the country’s economy.
To give emphasis on the importance of the data collected from ASPBI as bases from which the government and the private sector formulate policies and economic development plans, PSA RSSO IV-A conducted the Regional Data Dissemination Forum on 15 December 2023 in Ground Floor, Diamond Hall, Paseo Premiere Hotel, Sta. Rosa Business Park, City of Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The forum highlighted the latest results of the ASPBI, its operation and uses, and the step-by-step instructions on how to access, register, accomplish and submit ASPBI questionnaire online. The forum also aims to increase the response rate of the said survey through this activity. The forum was attended by selected CO staff, SOCD, CRASD and Provincial Statistical Office staff, Provincial Focal Persons of the said survey, NEDA IV-A, PPDO – Batangas, UPLB INSTAT, PEZA, Free Times Journal, Laguna Courier, and selected establishments within the region.
