THE 202nd Infantry (Unifier) Brigade, Philippine Army conducted a ceremony to confer ranks on its members who had successfully met the requirements of the Philippine Army’s Promotion System during the customary Flag Raising ceremony on Monday, January 20, 2023 at Headquarters 202nd Infantry (Unifier) Brigade, Brgy West Talaongan, Cavinti, Laguna.
Hon. Arrantlee R. Arroyo, the Municipal Mayor, Cavinti Laguna together with Brig. General Cerilo C Balaoro Jr, Commander, 202nd Infantry (Unifier) led the donning of ranks to the newly promoted personnel composed of four Majors, one Technical Sergeant, ten Staff Sergeants, seven Duty Sergeants, and two Corporals.
In his message, Brig. General Cerilo C Balaoro Jr, stressed that the promotion was a fruit of the commitment, exemplary performance, and significant contributions to the unit and to the Philippine Army. “Your promotion is not just an added rank insignia, but a manifestation of a higher responsibility. I hope you strive more, inspire, and motivate others to perform their best and excel in their respective duties.” He further encouraged the newly promoted personnel to uphold their duties with utmost dedication and maturity.
Hon. Arrantlee R. Arroyo, one of the Brigade’s key stakeholders who acted as Keynote Speaker extended his congratulations to the newly promoted personnel. He also praised everyone present for the dedication to duty and for keeping the peace in his municipality and to the whole province of Laguna.
The noble activity is part of the Commander’s trust in looking for the morale and welfare of troops by recognizing the efforts and outstanding service of its personnel.
