
FOUR people were roasted to death when the car they were riding caught on fire in Amulung, Cagayan.
The fatalities were identified as Nicole Jarrod Molina, a coffee shop owner, of Zone 2, Bgy. Centro, Amulong; and his three employees at the Bonito Café’ Oliver Taganna Jr., Benjie Pascual and Michael India, of Bgy. Estefania, Amulung, Cagayan.
The charred bodies of the victims were recovered from inside the ill-fated car.An investigation showed the victims were traveling in a Mazda car driven by Molina when upon reaching the highway in Bgy. Anguiray in Amulong, he lost control of the vehicle at 11 p.m. on Saturday.
The car struck a street light post before crashing into an acacia tree then burst into flames. Members of the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Philippine National Police rushed to the area and recovered the charred bodies of the victims.Police are investigating the incident.
