Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez administers the Lakas oath of membership to the mayors of Bohol’s 2nd District, led by Mayor Constantino Reyes of Ubay. The other mayors who took their oaths on Wednesday (Sept. 4, 2024) include Mayor Janette Garcia of Talibon, Mayor Cary Camacho of Getafe, Mayor Dave Duallo of Buenavista, Mayor Eugeniano Ibarra of Clarin, Mayor Restituto Suarez III of Sagbayan, Mayor Diosdado Gementiza of San Isidro, and Mayor Jose Cepedoza of Danao. Additionally, San Miguel Vice Mayor Faustino Bulaga, Trinidad Vice Mayor Fernando Erio and former Dagohoy Mayor Sofronio Apat, all mayoralty candidates, also took their oaths. Joining them were First Councilor John Felix Garcia, mayoralty candidate from Bien Unido; First City Councilor Malvin Misael Torralba of Tagbilaran City; and Dexter Ancla, mayoralty candidate from Inabanga. Witnessing the event were Majority Leader Manuel Jose “Mannix” M. Dalipe, Agusan del Norte 1st District Rep. Jose “Joboy” Aquino and Bohol 2nd District Rep. Maria Vanessa Cardona-Aumentado.
