BUSINESSMAN and congressional aspirant Dave Almarinez on Monday formally launched 61 free wifi zones in San Pedro City, Laguna.
Almarinez was accompanied by his wife actress Ara Mina or Hazel Pascual Reyes-Almarinez in real life during the launching at the Robinson’s Galleria South in San Pedro City.
He announced that people of San Pedro can now use the Dave Almarinez wifi 24/7.
“Unlimited po ang gamit nito. You can use it as long as you want. Lahat ng public places kakabitan ng free wifi zones,” he said.
According to him, the wifi sites were put up in partnership with the private sector.
“Public places should be equipped with wifi connection. We have 27 barangays in San Pedro. All will benefit, especially those having online classes and businesses counting on wifi connectivity,” he said.
“This will be the start of San Pedro being a Smart city, Almarinez, former Undersecretary and ex-president and CEO of the Philippine International Trading Corporation, further said.
Almarinez added that if elected in Congress, he will work hard to make San Pedro’s health facilities among the best in the region.
