THE office of Leyte Representative Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez on Wednesday confirmed that it has received an invitation from the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI), assuring the lawmaker’s full cooperation and support for the Commission’s efforts to uphold transparency, accountability, and good governance.
“In this regard, Rep. Romualdez is prepared to appear before the Commission,” his office said in a statement.
“The Office of Rep. Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez confirms receipt today (Wednesday) of the invitation from the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI),” the statement said.
Romualdez, who served as Speaker of the 19th and 20th Congress, said he welcomes the opportunity to cooperate with the ICI and is ready to participate in its proceedings.
“Rep. Romualdez welcomes the opportunity to cooperate with the Commission and fully supports its objective of promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance,” the statement added.
