TWO female “high-value” drug targets were arrested by the police Friday while over P700,000 worth of shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations in Angeles City.
Arrested were Cherry Munoz, of Bgy. Cutcut, Angeles City, and Rosielyn Rosellosa, of Bgy. Malabanias, said a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr..
Munoz was arrested by the Angeles City police in an entrapment in the village.
Confiscated from her were 12 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu worth at least P374,000 and the marked money.
Meanwhile, Rosellosa was caught in another anti-drug operation launched by the Angeles City Police Office operatives in Bgy. Balibago.
Rosellosa yielded a plastic sachet and two knot -tied plastic of shabu worth P374,000, the marked and boodle money, and a small pouch.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects..
“The results of these operations prove that there are still a lot of illegal drugs circulating in the streets. Hence, we will keep on working day in and day out to stop the use and proliferation of any form of drugs prohibited by our law,” Hidalgo said.
The Central Luzon top cop commended the Angeles City police for another accomplishment.
