Lucena City Mayor Roderick Alcala (2nd from left) and wife Maggie lead the cutting of ribbon during the blessing and launching of the first ever floating restaurant in Lucena City at the Port of Bgy. It was followed by a short program, where the mayor acknowledged City Tourism head Arween Flores for his effort and all those who helped to make the project a “dream come true.” Alcala said the floating restaurant will boost tourism in the progressive coastal city. The couple is flanked by their son, city mayoral candidate Mark Alcala and uncle former Agriculture Secretary and now Congressional candidate Proceso Alcala.
