Nineteen pairs of lovers tied their knots yesterday (Valentine’s Day) in a mass wedding held in Bgy. Anahaw 1, Silang Cavite sponsored by the local government under Silang Mayor Corie Poblete. Prior to the mass wedding, each couple was required to plant a tree in the new Municipal Hhall grounds in Bgy. Biga 1.
The local government shouldered the expenses for the processing of the marriage certificate, wedding gifts and reception meals of the newly-weds.
