PEOPLE of Batangas City on Sunday flocked to Plaza Mabini to watch the free movie offered by the city government in celebration of the Valentine’s Day.
The free movie was one of the “treats” prepared by the Cultural Affairs Committee (CAC) that aims to give pleasure not only to lovers but also to the whole family celebrating the Heart’s Day.
Before the movie started showing, there was a game where the winners took home gifts and cash prizes.
A “Magkatuwang na Puso”-dating game was also held, wherein selected young “couple” joined the contest.
The city government also prepared a romantic Valentine’s Night celebration, with acoustic band performances on Valentine’s Day yesterday.
The CAC said attractions, food stalls, and performances will continue at Plaza Mabini until February 28.
