CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City, Laguna – Police Regional Office 4A which comprises the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon (Calabarzon) has a new police director in the person of Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces.
Brig. Gen. Gaces replaced Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. who was named acting PNP director for Comptrollership.
Prior to his designation as the new regional director of Calabarzon,Gaces was the Deputy Director for Administration of the Ilocos Regional Police Office or the Police Regional Office 1.
Col. Antonio Marallag Jr., the Deputy Chief for Operations of the Ilocos Regional Police Office, took over the post of Brig. Gen. Gaces.
Meanwhile, Nartatez, was named acting PNP comptroller after Maj. Gen. Jesus Cambay vowed out of the police service Wednesday, upon reaching the retirement age of 56.
The revamp took effect on April 19.
